CROTCHED MTN., NEW HAMPSHIRE • January 8 & February 26, 2011
Since awesome, fun and courageous women are starting to venture out to the world of telemark, we have seen the demand for newbie clinics increase over the past few years in the New England area. This camp is perfect for women who have never stepped on tele skis, women who have skied a couple times but are still trying to figure out the basics, or women who have clinic'd with us before but are hoping to brush up on elementary skills before spending full days with us. The Ultimate Goove staff will focus on balance, weighting the skis correctly and the fabulous tele turn (ie: which foot goes first!). Crotched Mountain is the perfect location as it's only 60 miles from Boston, 30 miles from Keene, 20 miles from Manchester and the terrain is perfect for working on skills without worrying about the crowds. The clinic will include video analysis and a fabulous goody bag from our sponsors.
Details:
We will meet at 8:30 in the lodge to get acquainted, get dressed, answer any questions and hand out the goody bags! Since these clinics are 1/2 day events we will not break for lunch and will try to make the most of our energy. We will wrap up skiing around 12-12:30 (depending on the size of the group) and will spend the rest of our time reviewing video and addressing questions.
*If you need to rent equipment please be sure to take care of this prior to the event. Crotched does offer tele rentals (you might need to reserve to confirm they will have any left) or you could rent from EMS (Peterborough headquarters are only 15 minutes away).
$99/day or $134/day with lift ticket
